The title of this EP says more than any of my words ever could. If you want to get nerdy, implode is defined as a collapse or cause to collapse violently inwardly, and in the nearly ten minutes of running time, US Weekly unfurls a riotous inward explosion of punk. The Austin-based outfit has a clear and keen understanding of their sound, and its relentless, brusque and essentially a total scuffed up boot kick straight to your gut. This is punk in the purest sense of the word and it's likely to cause your own listening implosion, leaving you stunned and dazed by what you just heard.
