The latest single from Wild Ones' upcoming Mirror Touch (out 10/6 on Topshelf Records) is thick and intoxicating, as if you've stepped inside this world their track creates and you're lost to its every whim. "Invite Me In" begins with a pattering of snaps, slinking instrumentals and a question that pierces as direct as vocalist Danielle Sullivan's soprano - "don't you feel like a fraud sometimes?" The questioning lingers, the weight of their message reflected in a song that softly picks up, a whirlwind unraveling into a tunnel of sounds - Sullivan's airy directives and confessions coated in a sheen of fluid sounds from bandmates, Thomas Himes, Seve Sheldon, Nick Vicario and Max Stein.
