Categorically the nicest people you’ll ever meet, Sheffield three-piece Ganglions are gearing up to release their new EP Thirsty. Ahead of its release on 22nd September, via the consistently excellent Audacious Art Experiment, the band has shared a cut from the record in the shape of "Slow Lunch".
For anyone familiar with Ganglions sterling FETCH! EP, "Slow Lunch" will be a reassuringly familiar blast of energetic match-pop – a showcase of why Ganglions have received so much praise (rightly so) in the past year. However, "Slow Lunch" feels like the most immediate track that the Sheffield three-piece have penned to date. Throughout the track, Eimear and Brian’s vocals are the center of attention, making the track a shimmering earworm that once lodged in your head is very difficult to remove, while Chris’s intricate noodling adds depth to melodic weight of the song. "Slow Lunch" feels like the blast of energy you sorely needed, the song you can scream you can cathartically scream your heart out to and never tired of doing so.
You can pick up a copy of Thirsty on limited edition cassette, which comes with their FETCH! EP on the flip side. Check it out via the link below.
