Jackie Lain's newest single "Feeling So" is unforgettable. It's one of those musical moments in which each passing second reveals a new layer of its mystery. Although the track begins with the cascading ring of strings and Lain's husky vocals asking for more, the momentum soon picks up. There's an increased speed to it all, an urgency that becomes overwhemingly apparent. And while the quickened pace is fleeting, Lain manages to hold tight to that initial strength, vocals echoing against one another, a blissful few seconds that prove dizzyingly sweet. In its final few seconds the guitar rises with palpable strength, nearly drowning out Lain's last cries.
