song: "Silver Dollar" - Versing

song: "Silver Dollar" - Versing

During a previous TGE premiere of their album Nirvana, we found an immediate connection in the impassioned punk pleas of Versing, and the same urgency is present on their new single "Silver Dollar." The track comes as the band announced they've signed with Hardly Art, and "Silver Dollar" serves as the perfect holdover until we can hear more from these Northwest rockers. The single and its accompanying video tackle the issue of "affluenza," and for nearly three minutes, Versing presents a track of subtle, resounding changes. Initially beginning with unaffected vocals and the drone of guitars, "Silver Dollar" continues to expand, incorporating angry guitars that roar with an disorderly energy and a throbbing run of percussion that provides an equal partner in rage. The single is clean and vast, and just leaves you wanting so much more.

"Silver Dollar" is a new digital single from Seattle band Versing.
