video: "Inches Apart" - Magana

Magana has long remained one of our favorite musical discoveries and on the stunning visuals for "Inches Apart" it should be easy to see why. In the video, a duo dances along with fluid motions, their movements reflecting the emotional weight of their soundtrack. The single that's taken from Magana's Golden Tongue EP is beautifully haunting, from quiet instrumentals that echo against one another to the singer's soft soprano that professes a desire for closeness. When singing of loneliness, "when I’m cold /And I’m lonely/Hold me in your arms," you can actually feel that isolation, in part due to the song's instrumental backing that strikes you with its quiet strength. It's a beautiful piece and one you should experience for yourself.
