On "Big Wind, No Sail" Michael Nau waltzes with us into daydreams and quiet magic. Recorded with Natalie Prass who joins in on vocals, the single is part of Nau's The Load EP out now. Talking with the Fader, Nau said the tracks were recorded in one night, while seated on the floor with microphones. That rustic nature of late night recordings and the state of just letting the music be as is, is reflected in the single, its charm sparkling like stars dotting a western sky. It's a track made for stopping everything and letting Nau and Prass guide you into an era past or romantic daydreams of the future. You know the feeling of looking out at a sunset and watching the clouds and the sky change colors; how everything feels at peace and perfect in that second? This single is the epitome of that.
