Have you ever been awake during a sticky summer night? When it's late, the heat is oppressive, the sky is dark and all is quiet. These nights are made even all the more daring when a thunderstorm looms on the horizon, lightning dancing on a distant skyline. "Ceremonies" is the musical equivalent of those sticky, magical nights, and it's the first single from Strange Relations' Going Out EP out on 7/8 through Tiny Engines. The pulsing rhythms and smoky vocals dance about on their own skyline, singing of a quiet desperation to feel it all. It's an intoxicating shot of pop straight to the heart.
