It’s kind of hard not to feel an immediate connection with the video for Highwayyys “This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things.” On the surface all seems great - clips of a summer week in Pittsburgh portray an idea of endless fun, but all the smiles and Super Smash Bros. are soundtracked by a thoroughly depressing story of loss. The two paired together remind us that we can’t always hold on to what we want, but at least we can try and hold on to the memories.
