song: "Big Mouth" - Necking

“Big Mouth” is an energized, powerful introduction to Necking. The Vancouver group will release their debut album,Cut Your Teeth, on July 5 through Mint Records, and ahead of that we’re treated to the walloping single that is “Big Mouth.” The track begins with only an inkling of the fuzz that’s to come, and then it all falls to chaos. Guitars come swarming, drums pound out from every corner, and sneering vocals recall one that never brings them pleasure, and one that has a “really big mouth.” It’s one bumpy, but joyful ride; like an old wooden roller coaster that throws you for a loop, but leaves you itching to get back on and enjoy the thrill again.

In a press release, drummer and lyricist, Melissa Kuipers, described the track as, “the dollar store version of 'Our Lips are Sealed' by the Go-Go’s covered by Hilary and Haylie Duff.” So, yes, it is great.
