Atop intricate guitar patterns and subdued percussion, Harvey Trisdale shares an emotive tale of loneliness, Independence, and the desire to figure it all out. Their debut EP will drop later this summer, and in the meantime "Fit To Be Found" gives one a moody first taste; worn, seemingly world-weary vocals reflect on a continuation of events, a lingering sadness present in every second. And though a carefully laid pattern of instrumentals remain throughout much of the track, its final seconds unfold with a new sense of urgency. Everything becomes heightened, adding an obvious weight to a closer that has the line "you're always alone" repeated four times. Its a haunting send-off, a final reminder of words uttered that have yet to escape the mind of our narrator.
