Carly Beth, a supergroup which includes members of La Louve and Nectar — has unveiled their debut single, “Sacramento,” a fuzzy, blown-out ode to the faraway crush you just can’t quit. Forming last year, Carly Beth is making their recorded debut, releasing a self-titled tape through Rat King Records on 5/31. Ahead of the release, we’re premiering the punky, but sweet “Sacramento.” Although much of the single is comprised of gritty guitar and drums, the band cuts through the noise with affectionate vocals that display just a hint of sunshine. Making plans to somehow reach their crush, “Sacramento” is the kind of track you can imagine soundtracking all of the emotions that come with waiting to finally see the one you care for. The butterflies, nervous energy, and the uncontrollable racing of your heart is all perfectly reflected in the band’s initial offering.

Preorder the release through Rat King Records.
