video: "Kicked Out" - Pretty Matty
Aside from being the world’s most adorable music video, “Kicked Out” is also the most delightful, catchy, fun song. Pretty Matty — a band that I should have listened to forever ago — released an incredible EP last year, and have given single “Kicked Out,” a video treatment that makes me feel. The track — which clocks in at just under two minutes — is short, sweet, and direct; hitting you with a flash of fuzzy energy, some musings on the possibility of rainy day, and a recounting of an impromptu kick out. And just when you settle in, it all ends, and you’re left wanting more. Thankfully, we can always press replay.
