video premiere: "Can't Read" - Pity Pattern
The year may have only just begun, but we’ve already fallen pretty hard for the energetic fun of Pity Pattern. The band — which will release their debut album later this month — gave the video treatment to “Can’t Read,” a delightfully punky earworm that’s begging you to dance — and also shout — along to. Beginning with churning guitar and rapid percussion, the song’s energy is unrelenting and endearing. And with a soaring chorus of: “I can’t read between the lines/I can’t help but just waste my all my time,” you’re sure to find yourself singing or even swaying along to this one, too.
