Addie Pray is the solo project of Carmen Perry of SPORTS, (which I still have yet to collect my thoughts enough/get over the feels of their recently released All of Something.) “Watch TV” is the first single from Screentime a full length out 11/27 through the glorious Father/Daughter Records.

Maybe it’s just this time in my life and the circumstances of current, but there’s just something about Carmen Perry’s vocals that truly and seriously resonate with me. Each second feels significant, her musings of the world around her striking and sincere, the fear of giving it all and still having something left in return - “you just think I’m acting strange/cause we’re both scared of how things change/will you still take care of me/I can stay home and watch TV.”
