guest mix: True Blossom

Earlier this year, True Blossom released the incredible Heater through Citrus City Records. In celebration of the release, the band has curated a mix of songs that inspired their music, telling TGE, “Our mix builds through a bunch of weird pop and disco tracks before reaching its inevitable climax in a Christmas rap song written by a white new wave band. Also, I’ve noticed that great Swedish pop records are seemingly required by law to have a fake reggae song (Dancehall Queen, Tropical Loveland, Looking for Gold), so we included one too. We’re sort of a fake Swedish pop band anyway.”
