“Something to Hide” is one of the most emotionally gripping tracks we’ve heard this year. It’s a deep exploration into heartbreak and love, as frog recounts the moments that led to a secretive side relationship.

There’s so much happening within every second of this song to latch onto, including tremendous percussion and overwhelmingly woozy guitar. “Something to Hide” feels like an exercise in anguish, the band going through the memories of what occurred, constantly changing their ideals to match. The track features as a soft, whispered middle, bouts of unrestrained shouts, and an abrupt conclusion. Their tone matches the mood of the realization, with frog delivering on loaded lines that cut straight to the heart: “Don’t you know why I don’t call you/Don’t you know why I don’t care/Truth be told I’m waiting for you/Just a look and I’ll be there.”

The track is first single from an upcoming Audio Antihero release titled Whatever We Probably Already Had It (out 11/30).
