split: cabbage/oxblood

Our pals at GFP turned us onto this one - a split between Oxblood and Cabbage. The bands make complementary but differing contributions that make for one blissful sampling. Oxblood begins the split with whispered, lovely acoustic confessions that are all at once heartbreaking and sincere. Cabbage follows it up with blown out and fuzzy rock. The pace may have quickened on their side, but the secrets still cut just as deep. Together it's like peering into their hearts and seeing the aftermath of falling in and out of love.
