the beat: Cinema Hearts

Welcome to The Beat, a new TGE feature where our fave artists/bands/people give us tips on makeup! The most feature to ever me! Today we welcome Caroline Weinroth of Cinema Hearts. Special thanks to Caroline for also coming up with this feature’s name!

For Cinema Hearts shows, I always wear winged eyeliner and false eyelashes. My make-up is inspired by The Ronettes, Lana Del Rey, Dita Von Teese, and all of my pageant queen friends.  I have trichotilomania, which is an anxiety-based hair-pulling habit, so I don't have any natural eyelashes or eyebrows. Wearing eye make-up gives me the confidence to look at people and to be looked at.
