This split 7" from Say Sue Me and Otoboke Beaver features sides that are as different as day and night. On the A-side we have a shimmering, slow contribution from Say Sue Me. Their single "Good For Some Reason" is a glistening, noisy beam of garage pop. Beneath a coating of fuzzy guitars and drums are syrupy vocals, their subdued nature barely audible when met by their surrounding soundscape. Meanwhile B-side "S'il Vous Plait" from Otoboke Beaver is a punching bop of punk, screamed out vocals backed by bouncing guitar and drums. It's messy and fun, carrying you away from the contemplation of its A-side and into action, inspiring one to dance or at least smile. It's a power-packed two minutes, ending in a stomping bout of noise that comes swinging, leaving listeners reeling. The 7" is a total blast of fun from start to finish.
