Getting older doesn't mean things get easier or that the days that pass reveal a better understanding of what's to come. "Certain for Miles" is possibly one of the most moving songs about uncertainty, aging and finding the answers to it all in yourself. Cayetana explained a little more about the details of the track over at CoS, calling it "about trying to find strength and resilience in yourself when others fall short or can't relate." It's somber, beautiful, blossoming gradually and unraveling with such tender force; the track is a hand to hold in your darkest storms, wrapping around you with tight arms and glorious guitar. "I'm older but I'm always on the fence...I always seem to doubt/how everyone seems to have it all figured out," Augusta Koch confesses. It's a small beam of sunshine on the rainiest days, a beautiful contemplative few moments that take your full attention and hold tight to it. Their album New Kind of Normal is out next month.
