There's been a hole in my heart the size of a kick drum ever since Be Your Own Pet ended. Luckily, PET CROW might just ease some of the pain. The Derby, UK based act recently released these two singles and both are a fiery display of attitude and gnarled punk. On "How Are You Wired" the band makes a stomping impression in under two minutes, with a swinging single that features powerful unrelenting punches of drums and guitar, the band defiantly questioning "who do you think you are?" That single is only the beginning of the fun though as "Scrape Yourself from the Floor" comes swaggering forth, vocals echoing against a dancing guitar line and riotous drums. The singles move quickly, knocking you back all at once with their brash power. It's five minutes of pure fun and adrenaline, and is just enough to help you feel a little bolder or just to fall in love with some new punk.
