Can’t Dance is one of our favorite local groups and today we’re honored to premiere a brand new track from the trio. “Ghost of 1976″ comes from the group’s upcoming EP Hearsay, which was self-recorded and self-produced during late 2014 to early 2015. Here’s a little more on the May 5th release from the band:

The four-song EP spans a range of influences from 90’s alternative to modern indie rock, as well as small doses of surf-rock thrown into the mix. With laid back instrumentals like those of great 90’s acts, such as Pavement and Built to Spill, forming the back bone of the EP, the band is able incorporate more modern characteristics of current indie rock bands such as Surf City, No Age, and The Men.

Rumor has it the band will be hitting the road soon, so keep your eyes peeled for some East Coast dates!
