“110,” the first single off of Nudie Mag’s upcoming debut album, feels like a ray of sunshine sent out from Pasadena to cut through the gray winter. Nudie Mag first popped up about a year ago with a three-song demo of fun, poppy tunes played on heavily distorted guitars, and now their first full-length is set to come out on March 13.

“110” delivers a wall of fuzzy, bubbly pop almost reminiscent of old time rock and roll music with crunchy, punk-inspired guitars. The lyrics are what you’d expect from a straightforward love song, with a few twists as falling for someone is equated with “all the dirty things” the singer wants to do. The call-and-response chorus adds to the overall fun of the song, and it works great when the group strips the instrumentation down to only vocalists and acoustic guitar after the bridge.

If “110” is any indication, Our Milk is set to be a fantastic record, and I certainly can’t wait to hear more from Nudie Mag. You can check out the tune below and preorder the record from Triple B Records.
