Like an all too brief appearance from the summer sun, “Either Way” is a quick beam of positivity, bringing you a burst of jangly pop that quickly retreats back into the clouds. Appearing on the upcoming self-titled release from Jeanines, the single is one of optimistic acceptance, ringing in reverb and guitar, dashing amongst quickly paced drums and honeyed vocals to repeat a directive that “Either Way,” one must simply stay. Even though there are confessions of confusion and an inability to fully understand what’s happening with someone else, that directive remains, repeated against a charming instrumental pattern. Sure, everyday can’t be perfect and we may never understand everything, but “Either Way" there’s something good waiting just around the corner.
