"Milky Milk" is the latest release from Dama Scout since their debut EP in November. "Milky Milk" is a song that you feel in your bones — it beams with warmth, but still has an edge that makes you want to groove.

From start to finish, there’s something enchanting about this track. It builds up slowly, but gradually gathers tension. Throughout, the tempo remains elastic, picking up and slowing down amidst soft murmurs and heavier crashes. Towards the end, the track breaks down into a dreamy, fuzzy world that you easily get lost in — it feels like you’re swimming in a sonic landscape where time moves with a slow ease. Eva Liu’s warm vocals mesh with the coolness of the instrumentals, submersing you into an almost trance-like state. There’s a natural ebb and flow between the three; a push and pull dripping with composure.

"Milky Milk" builds a comfortably hazy atmosphere. There’s a tangible spark between the three, and they have an impressive ability to subtly balance dreamy jangle rock with harsher sludge undertones in a way that feels intuitive. Dama Scout’s been on the up and up since their debut single in 2016, each new release building a steady sound and innate ability to create absorbing, intricate music.
