Summers Twins have consistently delivered on sunny, summery pop melodies that easily sweep you away from whatever gray clouds or darkness seem to be hanging around. Their newest single "Another Hit" (aptly named) from an upcoming 7" on Wallflower Records proves just as unforgettable. Chelsea and Justine Brown combine their vocals for honeyed melodies that rush their way into your heart; a message of foolishly falling for someone that you just can't help, made all the more sweet by twinkling instrumentals, wondrous instrumentals effects and an endearing quality of happiness. And if you're not pulled in by the start, their conclusion of round robin vocals should be more than enough to keep you hooked for another play.

"The song was recorded and produced by Gabe Roth (aka Bosco Mann, cofounder of Daptone Records and bassist of Sharon Jones and the Dapkings). As fans and fellow lovers of old music, we were so stoked to work with him! We had heard that he was also from our hometown, Riverside, CA, and after catching our set at a local event, he asked us to open for Sharon Jones and the Dapkings in 2016. Sharing the stage with them was such an honor and a night we'll always remember. 

Afterward we kept in touch and I shared some demos with him. Last year he was finishing up a James Hunter album in Riverside (where he works when he's not at the Daptone studio in NY) and invited us to come in and lay down a few songs after their session. Gabe was so chill to work with and his love for recording and crafting songs showed through in the way he worked. With the help of his partner Simon, we recorded everything to tape, mostly live, and overdubbed the vocals."
