TGE Recipes: Strawberry Jam with Caroline Lazar

  • 2 cartons of fresh strawberries 
  • Chia seeds
  • Maple Syrup 
  • Love 


  • Chop up all of the strawberries into little strawberries 
  • Get one big pot and put it on the stove on medium-high
  • Dump the strawberries into the pot, the more strawberries, the longer it will take to make your jam
  • Use a wooden spoon to stir up your strawberries and remind them that you care about their well being
  • Use a fork/potato masher to make the strawberries more of a jam consistency 
  • Once it looks liquidy and jammy, take it off the heat, and pour as much maple syrup in as you want, it will already be pretty sweet because strawberries are delicious 
  • Mix in chia seeds to give your jam that thick consistency 
  • Eat your jam with a spoon or on toast with English Breakfast Tea with your cat
