Skin!
My skin is usually dry and flaky so after cleaning and exfoliating in the morning I always start off with a moisturizer! I usually use a mixture of serums and moisturizer, but my main product is definitely Trader Joe’s Nourish Anti-Oxidant Moisturizer! It’s inexpensive, and great for sensitive skin! Doesn’t feel greasy either!
Base!
Ok SO finding a foundation in my shade is HARD. Anything pale enough for my is either super drying, super expensive, or isn’t available in stores for me to swatch! So I can’t turn to drugstore foundations to save money (RIP). My fave is Teint Idole Ultra by Lancôme, in the shade 90 (they have a wide shade range for deep skin tones as well!) It’s pale and neutral, and medium coverage. Super easy to sheer it out or build it up as needed! If I want fuller coverage I use a Real Techniques beauty sponge.
Conceal and perfect!
The concealer I use was discontinued, so I’ll have to find a new go-to! But generally I just use a brush to dot concealer over any red spots or blemishes and blend! Super simple.
CHEEKS!
I have a few fave blushes, but generally I like anything that’s quick and easy. I like cream blushes because they’re easy to blend (super helpful for doing your makeup at red lights in the car). The Cloud Paint by glossier is a pretty foolproof one. I like to put some on the bridge of my nose as well!
Set!
Powder! I use a translucent powder by Laura Mercier through my T-zone only!
Face Fuzz :-)
I don’t have to do my brows anymore since I got them microbladed about a year ago, so that saves me SO much time! But since my lashes are light like my hair, I do LOVE mascara. Benefit’s Bad Gal Bang is hands down the best, with Roller Lash as a close second. I’ve had people ask me if I’m wearing falsie sore extensions multiple times!
LIPS !
My skin is always dry, including my lips. I can’t really do the whole “matte liquid lip” trend so I instead opt for stains since they last just as long but I can pair it with a lip balm easily. It’s hard to find stains and tints anymore since they’re out of fashion, but a lot of K-Beauty brands have great ones and I can find them in US drugstores on occasion! I have the PeriPera water gel in almost every shade...it smells and tastes SO yummy oops!
Refresh!
HYDRATING SETTING SPRAY SO MY SKIN DOESNT FALL OFF! Rose scented and baby pink for the ~aesthetic~ of course.
Eyes *
I don’t wear eye makeup on my day to day, but if I’m going out or playing a show I like to have fun with it! I love using LemonHead LA “SpaceJam”, which is chunky glitter suspended in a gel. It stays on without needing glue, and it makes SUPER cute glitter freckles! I use the style “Birthday Bitch” since it has STARS in it and I love that!
