Sailor Moon is truly the average girl’s hero. By day, Usagi is a teenager: often clumsy, at times lazy, and always falling in love too easily. By night, she’s Sailor Moon: a magical guardian of all things good and innocent. Usagi’s story is framed by two things: coming of age and friendship. She learns to deal with the responsibilities of becoming an adult and is forced to grow up before she’s ready to. Second, her friends are always by her side, helping her study, offering advice, or saving the day at the last very second.
