video: "Drivers" - John Andrews & the Yawns

Taking inspiration from his new New Hampshire home, John Andrews & the Yawns return with a new album, out 3/10. Video and single "Drivers" is warm and soft, Andrew's endearing twang nearly whispering a recognition - "I don't know you no more/Don't owe you no more." The songs were written throughout the change of seasons, Andrews incorporating the sounds and environment that surrounded him. It's obvious even in this single that nature played a part, Andrews painting portraits of drives against a darkening sky, setting a kettle on the stove, and the bittersweet realization that you've lost someone. If it's warm enough where you are this single is made for laying in a field of grass and peering into the sunlight.
