On the newest single, "Gaslighter", Worriers' Lauren Denitzio reveals the final response she gave to a former abuser. Against the backing of a simple, fuzzy guitar line that explodes into something larger, Denitzio cries out - "I just wanna be alone sometimes." It's a single of emotional force, with the song meant to stand as their definitive statement that the abuse they underwent at that person's hands was not their fault. We may often find ourselves facing darkness but Worriers' message is one of hope, a promise that we'll survive this.
