mp3 premiere: "Lip Job" - Miss World

We last wrote of the celebratory nature of Miss World's "Put Me in a Movie" and today we're excited to premiere the next single from her upcoming EP Waist Management out 10/13. "Lip Job" is a brief, fuzzy ode to the act of changing yourself and the pain that comes along with it. In a little more than a minute and a half, Miss World aka Natalie Chahal slices through a backing of heavy noise with sweet vocals, singing of a "Lip Job". Its sugar meet spice nature, along with the track's instantly catchy melodies make it the kind of tune you'd imagine Cher Horowtiz blasting on her Jeep as she heads off for a day of shopping.

Quote from Chahal about the track: “I'm obsessed with makeup tutorials and YouTube and vlogging. One day I spent 17 hours watching people get injected while listening to Kissability by Sonic Youth on repeat. Then I wrote Lip Job. Maybe it wasn't a full 17 hours. I probably stopped to watch The Kardashians. Love you Kim.”
